Here is are some of the most common FAQ's that we receive about our customization process and option.
Q: Can I have this ring made in different metals?
A: Yes...we offer our rings in several different metals including 14k and 18k White, Yellow, Rose, and Two Tone or Multi-Tone Gold, Platinum, and, for some designs, Palladium. We can also do custom made ring in Sterling Silver and 10k Gold colors.
Q: Can I order this ring to fit a different shape center stone than is show in the picture?
A: Yes...we can customize just about any ring we carry to hold just about any shape center stone.
Q: Can I put a different size center stone in a ring?
A: Yes...most rings are highly customizable when it comes to center stone size. Changing the size of the center stone can at times alter the look of the ring, but what we do is we alway make each ring around the center stone size, so that it will be proportionate to the center stone you are setting into it. We don't want the stone looking like it is being swallowed up by the ring, or being forced into a ring that is too small for it.
Q: How do I get a price quote for a ring that I want to modify or a custom ring I want to build?
A: Its simple. Just contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and one of our reps will get back to you within 24 hours to give you more information and pricing.
Q: Are there any special fees associated with modifications or custom designs?
A: No. We do not have any special fees that we add on to a ring to modify it or make a new one custom. The price is simply adjusted to account for the costs of any new design work and extra material and labor that will be necessary to perform the modification. In essence, a modified ring is priced using exactly the same formula as a stock ring.
Q: Can I return a modified or custom ring?
A: Heavily modified rings and custom rings are not returnable. Because every ring is different, modifications that are simple on some rings are very difficult on others. If you are modifying a ring, and would like to know if the modifications will void the return policy, simply ask the rep you are working with and they will be able to let you know what modification on the ring you are interested in will cause the ring to fall under the "custom" designation and thereby make it non-returnable.
